Reliance Industries Ltd rises for third consecutive session

Reliance Industries Ltd gained for a third straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 1211, up 3.1% on the day as on 12:49 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 1.69% on the day, quoting at 23005.5. The Sensex is at 74132.92, up 1.86%. Reliance Industries Ltd has slipped around 2.34% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty Energy index of which Reliance Industries Ltd is a constituent, has slipped around 2.34% in last one month and is currently quoting at 36503.5, down 0.53% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 122.01 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 131.7 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark October futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 1212.9, up 2.6% on the day. Reliance Industries Ltd is down 13.39% in last one year as compared to a 10.08% drop in NIFTY and a 2.38% drop in the Nifty Energy index.
