Nifty Consumer Durables index ended up 0.93% at 40829.4 today. The index has added 5.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd jumped 2.88%, LG Electronics India Ltd added 1.57% and Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd shed 1.22%. The Nifty Consumer Durables index has increased 5.00% over last one year compared to the 2.54% fall in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Pharma index increased 0.85% and Nifty PSU Bank index gained 0.75% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 recorded a gain of 0.48% to close at 24334.55 while the SENSEX witnessed a rise of 0.37% to close at 77656.09 today.
