DCM Shriram Fine Chemicals Ltd consolidated sales down 2.49% on year in Q2FY2026

DCM Shriram Fine Chemicals Ltd share price remained flat to Rs 25.56 after the company's net profit plunged by 167.62% to Rs 2.59 crore, while revenue from operations slipped slightly by 2.49% to Rs 90.18 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Specialty Chemicals industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 5.1 lakh crore, rallying 15.03%. It has improved by 1.55% over last one week and heading higher by 13.66% in last one month while the market capitalization of DCM Shriram Fine Chemicals Ltd has marginally improved by 2.03% and 9.84% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of DCM Shriram Fine Chemicals Ltd stood at Rs 3.77 crore in Q2 FY26, crashing by 35.00% year-on-year, and tumbling by 183.41% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 4 crore, nosediving by 36.68% YoY and tanking 224.31% sequentially. Total expenses dropped by 10.26% to Rs 87.63 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 60.68 crore, posting a minor increase of 6.59% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 12.21 crore, seeing a marginal contraction of 1.61% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations contracted by 10.38% to Rs 382.64 crore, while net profit tumbled by 118.46% to Rs 3.54 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA surged by 2769% to Rs 0.46 crore, and PBT tanked by 112.12% to Rs 3.14 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 16.07 crore in FY26, as against Rs 14.23 crore in FY25.
