Rubicon Research Ltd consolidated sales up 3.97% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit rose by 10.41%

Rubicon Research Ltd share price declined by 0.25% to Rs 1617.95. The Company's net profit expanded by 10.41% to Rs 84.78 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 3.97% to Rs 534.34 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Pharmaceuticals industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 25.4 lakh crore, gaining 4.13%. It has improved by 0.06% over last one week and rose by 9.58% in last one month while the market capitalization of Rubicon Research Ltd has inched up 1.39% and 65.14% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Rubicon Research Ltd stood at Rs 110.37 crore in Q2 FY26, jumping 85.31% year-on-year, and rising by 11.84% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 123 crore, surging by 57.29% YoY and easing 6.32% sequentially. Total expenses posted a minor rise of 3.16% to Rs 420.36 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 153.93 crore, marginally falling by 0.81% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 85.67 crore, witnessing a strong rise of 25.34% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations surged 36.57% to Rs 1753.96 crore, while net profit saw a strong growth of 83.64% to Rs 246.74 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA soared by 26830% to Rs 392.51 crore, and PBT witnessed a strong rise of 64.78% to Rs 320.53 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 205.05 crore in FY26, as against Rs 159.18 crore in FY25. Rubicon Research Ltd surged by 157.86% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 3.21% during the same period.
