IRDAI approves appointment of Sandeep Batra as ICICI Prudential Chairman

ICICI Prudential on Thursday said, The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has approved the appointment of Sandeep Batra as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company.

Sandeep Batra?s appointment will be effective from June 30, 2024, the company said.

Batra has been associated with the ICICI Group since September 2000 and is currently an Executive Director on the Board of ICICI Bank since July 2018, in charge of the Corporate Centre. He has also served as Group Compliance Officer at ICICI Bank, and Executive Director, CFO at ICICI Prudential Life.

Batra is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary by qualification.
